Escape into a guided chocolate tasting led by our Chief Storyteller, where fine chocolate, a live story reading, and shared experience come together.

This ticketed tasting centers on Sundae Nights, the second edition of our Chocolate Stories Series—a mini, standalone chocolate story designed to be savored in one sitting and brought to life through an intimate, guided experience.

Set on a sultry summer evening in Boston, the city’s lights shimmer across the soft ripples of the Charles River near the Longfellow Bridge. Cole and Catie had only met the night before, but the attraction was undeniable. The air is thick with possibility. What begins as an innocent ice cream date hints at something even sweeter waiting to unfold.

During this live tasting, you’ll be guided through the full story while sampling chocolates inspired by classic ice cream flavors and summer-night nostalgia.

This guided tasting includes:

  • A live reading of the full short story Sundae Nights
  • A formal, guided chocolate tasting led by our Chief Storyteller
  • Chocolate samples inspired by the story, including:
    • Caramel Cone
    • Mint Chocolate Chip
    • Black Raspberry Dark
    • A Single Origin Flavor
    • A Preview Flavor from the Byways to Montague Chocolate Story
  • Introduction to chocolate origins, tasting techniques, and flavor exploration tools

You’ll also receive a chocolate tasting wheel, a map of cacao-growing regions with fun facts, and a take-home bag—so you can continue the journey long after the story ends.

Purpose-Driven Storytelling
Proceeds from this experience support the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, Connecticut, helping preserve literary history and inspire future storytellers.

Whether you’re a chocolate lover, a reader, or simply looking for a memorable shared experience, this guided tasting invites you to slow down, listen closely, and savor every moment.
